Priyanka Chopra opened up about how her daughter Malti Marie is taken care of by their family members when she and Nick Jonas are busy with their work schedules
Over the years, with her sheer hard work and determination, international star Priyanka Chopra has garnered a huge fanbase. After raking in praises for her OTT debut project Citadel, she is now eagerly awaiting the release of her movie Love Again co-starring Sam Heughan. She has been opening up a lot about her personal experiences, during media interactions while promoting her projects. She recently spoke about how her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas has changed her life.
Having worked non-stop for all her life, Priyanka told the hosts of the American Broadcasting Company’s (ABC) talk show The View that the toddler has brought positive changes in her life. She expressed how grateful she was that Malti was born at a time when she could easily take a year off of work and prioritise family over everything. She spoke about how earlier she was greedy for work as “I don’t want anyone else to do the job.” The actress further spoke about how Malti is her homing signal. The 40-year-old actress went on to add that she could never go to work without her daughter being in the care of one of her family members. Priyanka heaped praises on her mother Madhu Chopra and mother-in-law Denise Jonas for taking care of their granddaughter when she and her husband Nick Jonas are away. She further, “She is in New York right now which means my mother schlepped everywhere. I can’t go to work without her (Malti) being with someone in the family. My mom loves it though. Malti is with my mother-in-law right now. For the unversed, the couple got hitched in 2018 at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace in lavish ceremonies after dating for a couple of years. They welcomed their first daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in 2022 via surrogacy. The proud parents are often seen taking to social media to share glimpses of their daughter.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra has an exciting slate of upcoming projects. She was last seen in the Russo brothers' spy thriller Citadel, co-starring Richard Madden. Apart from this, she has Love Again and Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in the pipeline.
